SAGA is organized to promote cultural exchange between the United States and the Nordic Countries of Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway, and Sweden; to preserve and enjoy the Scandinavian traditions, customs, history and cultural heritage; to increase understanding of the Nordic people and societies among Americans; and to provide a forum where people interested in Scandinavia can meet and enjoy Nordic culture and activities.

SAGA Kubb 2008 Championship of the Carolinas, on the grounds of the Salisbury Civic Center on October 26, 2008 from 1:00PM-6:00PM.
A fun, family friendly event and it’s FREE to watch. Pack up the lawn chairs or bring a blanket. Participation fee for each tournament player is $5.00. Medals will be awarded to the top three teams.
