Become a member of SAGA of the Carolinas and support promoting cultural and educational exchange between the U.S. and Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway, and Sweden. Plus, you will receive benefits your whole family will enjoy, such as discounts on tickets to our events, and other exclusive Members-only events. New benefits are added as our membership grows.
Membership dues pay for one full calendar year, and renewals are sent two months before your expiration date. Memberships begin and end on the 1st of every month.
SAGA of the Carolinas is a volunteer operated non-profit organization; however, cultural events are expensive to organize no matter how frugal we are, so your membership dues and donations are vital to the on-going success of the organization and ScanFest.
- The following are examples of your dues at work:
- For $10, SAGA can provide educational instruction with artifacts at a local K-12 school
- $20 pays for 4 months of web-hosting
- $25 helps with entertainer fees for ScanFest
- $50 provides supplies needed to generate $200 in revenue from fund-raising events
- $100 helps offset the $2700 cost of insurance
